Against centralized control mode,the author has designed and developed Power Network Fault Diagnosis System that improve Dispatching Center's ability of monitoring and disposing the fault, which can provide the Dispatcher real-time, plentiful and intelligentized decision support. The Fault Diagnosis System's process and analysis can alleviate the dispatcher's pressure and raise work efficiency.The Fault Diagnosis system that has real time state and research state is based on the Open3000. When power network structure is changed, it can maintain the background knowledge base, which could satisfy practical projects'need. Considering the actual need, the system scan Open3000's message bus according to given period. when there is fault information, the fault diagnosis system start. Considering the uncertainty of the SCADA's teleindication and fault process, the fault diagnosis system use the combination of expert system and information theory.The secondary equipments are modeled by hierarchical relation. The power network's primary equipments, fault information, secondary equipments and relationship between breakers and secondary equipments are expressed by Object-Oriented and frame knowledge.The fault diagnosis system uses the expert systems deduce the fault symptom which result in outage areas. The system measure uncertainty of teleindication and fault process by information theory methods, and then confirm fault equipment and generate report. The fault diagnosis system has been tested on Open3000, which prove to be practical in some degree.
