At present, Digital and Internet technology have entered into our everyday life almost in every corner. The requirement of sharing internet information by Composing the appliances into a family network and connecting it with Internet, and the requirement of controlling and using appliances remotely by using the characteristic that Internet is spreading to every corner in the world, are more and more urgent. Famous enterprises including Microsoft IBM Sun TCL and Hair have been or been being in the process of developing and researching on Information Appliances. The two core technologies of IA are its home control and net connecting. The carrier of these cores is the software running on the home IA net. Because of the varieties of IA, differences of net-connecting interface and frequent accessing and quitting from the home net, the soft is required to be stable for running and convenient for updating. A distributed software system blue print based on CORBA is brought forward to increase the system' s stability and maintainability.This article analyses the developing situation and virtues of distributed software system and CORBA technology. Integratedwith information appliances' requirement, the applicability ofthe CORBA distributed system in information appliances is stated. Based on that, the concept of intelligent information appliances is introduced and how the rules of the intelligent system is carried out is brought forward at the end.This article analyses the cores of IA, home control module and net-connecting module, and the developing situation and speciality of the hardware and embedded software, and the problem of the net-connecting and net protocol. Based on that, a simulated dynamic pluggable model is built up.The Simulated model is realized based on CORBA under Delphi 6.0 developing environment. During this process, the details and key technologies are showed and illuminated. At last, on the basis of the simulating result, the realistic meanings of the model is analysed and the applicability and feasibility of our design are proved.
