High slope is a common type in practiced projects such as mining engineering, communications and transport engineering, hydraulic engineering and national defence construction etc. Its stability has an important influence on those engineering. Instability of slopes due to natural action and human activity has resulted in huge loss, therefore the calamity prevention of slope has attracted more and more concern of us .Now, The geological calamity of slope has already be.en called the three geological calamities source of our times with the earthquake and volcano so that many studies and preventions have been proceeding and many resource provided by nation and local government. With the development of our national economic and gradual perfection of the highway network, the ration of highway slop will become more and more heavy in slope engineering. Hence, according to the characteristic of highway slope, further investigate the mechanism and prevention means of highway slope are important to theory and realistic. This article take the NO5 contract high slope prevention engineering of Ping'a in Qinghai province as an example and based on the prestressed force anchorage technique which is widely used in high slope prevention ,to study and analysis the important links in the course of high slope prevention such as controlled blasting, anchor cable construction, safety management ect, put forward safe, high-efficient construction method and management, made the good technological and economic benefits in practical application, at the same time it plays a very good reference to other slope prevention.
