| Chiller plant of the current intelligent building operates inefficiently, and there islarge margin in controlling levels between the practical application and theoricalresearch. It is high time to point out that chiller plant has much potention of savingenergy and improve the practical controlling level of chiller plant. The study is based on the building automation system production of AmericanALC Corporation----WebCTRL. The experimental has been set was founded with thesoftware and hardware of ALC Corporation. Though completing the whole processfrom system designing, assembling to installation, we analyzes WebCTRL system, thedevelopment situation of building automation system and the innovation on HVACcontrolling. In this thesis, the applied control program of manager chiller plant--4×4variable array is founded. This paper analyzes ASHRAE type control pattern, thecontrol requirement of a conventional chiller piant and HVAC efficient operations incommon use and sequencing of parallel chillers. This paper concludes the regularcontrolling algorithm, analyzes the saving energy ways of a chiller plant, andintroduces the new controlling theory of cooling on demand, the new concept ofenergy management; Some practical controlling programs of manager chiller plant areput forward. It is composed of chiller staging, sequencing of chillers, rotation ofsequences, chilled water supply temperature reset control, central plant chillercontrol,and application notes of the chiller manager 4x4. This paper has been expounded the entire process of building automation systemfrom project design, drawing design, program design to program debug according tothe present research achievement in two projects. With an actual project construction, the paper puts forward a new measure ofcooling on demand.The control programs of manager chiller plant--4×4 variablearray are improved ——adding a schedule to run conditions according to the need,sequencing of chillers on the difference in temperature of chilled water and creatingcustom microblock using OCL . -II-ABSTRACT With application of control program of the chiller manager plant, chiller plantsoperate efficiently, and some problems also are exposed. The study of this thesis supplies a set of chiller manager control program thathave much reference value on practical engineering and actual significance toimprove the efficiency of chiller plant and save energy cost. |
