In the construction of hydro junction, the stability analysis, excavated volume scheme selection and anchored-supporting plan designing are the important questions in aspect of rock high wall slope, which are paid attention by hydro-engineers. Rock or rock mass structure and its existing state and condition are very complex and changeful. The geologic condition of rock high wall slope is complex, and the discrepancy and treatment difficulty are great, therefore, it is significant theory and practical engineering value to guide the treatment of high wall slop designing in hydro junction that making a study of finite element analysis to high wall slope stability, selection effective plan of excavated volume and anchored-supporting and simulation to dynamic construction process in the way of finite element.Based on studying deeply the conditions of engineering & hydrological geology and properties of rock mass in left side bank high wall slope of Hongjiang hydro junction, the stability is analyzed with non-linear finite element adopted contact plane model, then reasonable excavated volume scheme is confirmed. Construction process of excavated is dynamic simulated in the way of non-linear finite element theory, moreover, the situs that need to be reinforced after excavated is determined quantitatively in theory, which has important practical engineering value. The interaction effect of anchor is simulated by combined anchor element. Then flexibility supporting and rigidity supporting is equivalently replaced. Moreover, the stability after each step excavated is analyzed. Furthermore, the aforesaid plan of excavated is demonstrated. It was indicated by both academic analysis and engineering practice that the finite element analysis method, which was proposed in this paper, of rock high wall slope was reasonable and effective, and there were significant practical engineering value.
