The QIC numerical control system is researched in this paper. It uses the 32 bits DSP control chip as the nucleus. This system possesses abundant control functions and protection fuctions. This system can realise continue track control by adopting PID parameter adjusting, velocity and acceleration front feedback control mode, mature PWM driver control mode.This paper studied the QIC numerical control system. The main study contents is as follows:1. The driven power intelligent control function is designed. It ensure that the power is supplied for the driver only on the condition of CMM is controlled by the software and the power is shut off when CMM exit from the software. This prevent CMM 's flee actions and runaway when computer is turned off or reset.2. The probe presively processing electrocircuit is disigned. It is not the filter capacitance but the twice trigger that is used to compose the defend quiver circuit. This method minimizes the hardware's delay and permit the user to carry out measuring under different speed. It increases the measuring precision. 3. The swith reliable control circuit is disigned. All of the swith are in serial or parallel connection with the winding or touch point of relay respectively basing on different logic. Each swith take actions only for an instant. The later control is achieved by touch point of relay. This reduce the requirement of the swith's quality and enhance the reliability of sysytem.4. The influence and debug method of PID ,Vel FF, Accel FF on machine movement performance are studied. 5. The convenient graphics debug software is provided. All of the configure and the change of parameters are all able to be carried out conveniently in the window. All of the running status and the protection status are displayed on the screen. Compared with the running curve, the PID parameter, velocity and the accelerarity can be adjusted. The above functions enhance the efficiency and the quality of sysytem.6. The special control software is developed base on VC++. The software has the following fuctions: probe protection, overspeed protection, count protection, travel protection, air pressure protection, follow error protecttion, in position protection and so on. It also sustain touch probe, scan probe, laser probe and so on. It also can be united with famous measuring softwares such as PC-DMIS, QUINDOS, EZDMIS in order to satisfy different user's requirements.
