The integrated ship navigation system is an important system that is employed to navigate shipping, avoid colliding, automate steering ,guarantee navigating at sea and weapon system using in effect. The data processing (DP) technology is the core technique in this system. The noise can be filtered and system error can be eliminated from the contaminated information of every navigation sensor (unique navigation device) via data optimization and adaptive filter. Hence, the integrated information of best estimate status of ship (position, direction, velocity and pose) is achieved. In this thesis, the present situation of ship navigation in the nation is considered and the emphasis is put on the technique of adaptive Kalman filter. Through the example calculation and simulation of collected experiment data, the processed result by the adaptive Kalman filter can be achieved. Compared with the commonly used DSP technique, it is proved that this type of filter improves the precision, anti-jamming, stability and adaptability of ship navigation. Therefore, it is of important significance in practice.
