Its well to known, electric power is important basic industry, and it is important and advanced industry in development strategy of national economy. Now, electric power industry of China grows rapidly, thermal plant account for 70 percent national power plant. Because water plays an important role of transferring the energy and cooling medium in the process of generating electricity, water treatment is very important. The problem of how to supervise and automatic control the water treatment process effectively and thus enhance its economic and social benefit has become important and urgent subject to resolve for thermal plants.Firstly, the paper introduces the design of automatic control system and computer Supervisory system by means of industry control configure software in water treatment of thermal plant, based on the building of water treatment in Anqing Power Plant. Then it presents the control scheme. The whole control system composes of supplying water subsystem, purifying water subsystem, life sewage water subsystem, disposing waste water subsystem and rainwater pump room subsystem. Every subsystem is a suit of absolute PLC control system. The programming is programmed using Concept 2.5 software for each subsystem. The water treatment local area network is formed using MB+ network technology. The Intouch software is used to draw supervisory pictures. The supervisory pictures include system pictures trend pictures, alarm pictures accessorial pictures, and so on.Secondly, the paper analyzes the defect of control about Adding medicament system; which doesn't achieve perfect effect adopting conventional control strategy, so introduces a new control strategy in Adding medicament by using fuzzy logic controller with predictive model.At last, it simulates the design model with Simulink in MATLAB and gives the simulation results and analyses. Further, the paper also discusses the effect of parameter changing to the system; it has important reference value to improve the design of control system in Adding medicament.
