The Design Of The Permanent Magnetic Actuator For Vacuum Circuit Breaker And The Intelligence Of Medium-Voltage Switchgear

Permanent Magnetic Actuator (PMA) is a new type of actuator for Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB). Higher reliable, less of parts and maintenance-free are the notable characteristics of PMA. Starting from the characteristic of permanent magnetic material and PMA , several kinds of structure and operational principle of permanent magnetic actuator are discussed. Through the analysis of PMA static and dynamic behaviors ,the method of choosing PMA reasonably is presented. During the process of designing PMA control system, the Electro Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) problem is the focus. The automatic monitoring and intelligent operation of VCB is main content of intelligence medium voltage switchgear.
