| The plane gate is adopted most widely, whose design is burdensome and heavy. According to the present situation of the CAD research in Hydraulic Metal and the main form of the plane gate, a integrating CAD system is developed by referring to the experience of related CAD system development. The main contents are as follows:1. This paper discusses the structure of CAD system. According to the design process of the plane gate, this paper combines the structure design, special FEM modeling and working drawing and calculation description in PGCAD system. During the programming, Mixed-language programming technology is applied by using the prevalent developing tools such as VB, VC and so on, which makes PGCAD system bear friendly interface and high computation efficiency.2. According to water resources and hydropower engineering specification for design of steel gate, mech-electric design handbook for hydropower station and with the consideration of the related theories on steel structure, this paper studies the design method and calculation theories of the plane gate. On the basis on above, the plain structure design subsystem is developed.3. With the using of the APDL streaming based on ANSYS and according to the specialties of plane gate, the geometry model of plane gate is set up automatically, the modeling work in plane gate FEM analysis is semi-automatic.4. The parameterized method of disposition drawing of the plane gate is discussed in this paper. With the foundation of the establishing of a graph library of Hydraulic Metal, the working drawing subsystem is developed, which realizes the auto-disposition drawing.5. The technology of auto-calculation description is discussed, and the calculation description subsystem is developed based on Word software using VB, so the PGCAD system is more practicable. |
