In this paper, I main discuss electromagnetic bearing control theories, control algorithm and controller realization technique and application based on the DSP. First, this paper summarize the general situation and the current development of the electromagnetic bearing control technique and the key problem that face, introducing the main idea, related theories, the new theories and the technique development, putting forward the method to solve the control issue, as intelligence control theories realizes with new hardware technique combines together. Second, apply the related analytic theories in dynamics, establish the electromagnetic bearing rotor dynamics model. Then according to the analytic foundation of the electromagnetic bearing, use the PID control method and the neural network control theories respectively to establish the control algorithm of the electromagnetic bearing system, and distinguish to simulate the control result of these two kinds of control algorithm, compared their control result. Finally, discuss the related problem using digital signal processor(DSP) technique to realize controller hardware construction and the control software, give the controller hardware frame diagram and main part of flow charts and program of software, also evaluate the performance of the controller that use the DSP technique.
