The research on spring back feature of material is an advanced subject in scientific and technical field, and also a research hotspot. In order to adapt to new requests of more comprehensive and higher accuracy development for modern technology, it is imperative to research into the springback feature of material. So, it is of a great economic importance and scientific value to outspread the research on spring back feature of material. At present, this research in the world still rests on a numerical simulation stage with a low level accuracy. Now, there is no accurate theory of material spring back, so this research on spring back feature of material is a creative origination.This article first applied counter coupling equation of finite deformation resilience and method of weighted residual to establish the variation principle of finite deformation resilience, by introduce the concept of counter coupling system and counter coupling equation on finite deformation resilience.Then, Lagrange arithmetic operator is applied in variation principle of finite deformation resilience to establish a generalized variation principle of springback. Based on potential energy theory and residual energy theory of finite deformation resilience, potential energy theory and residual energy theory of the large deflection springback for member bar and straight beam are established. Finite-element method of large deflection springback for material is established on the potential energy theory and residual energy theory of large deflection springback for member bar and straight beam.At last, the springback of member bar and straight beam is calculated by applying the method of springback finite-element. And, springback of member bar and straight beam is simulated by finite-element program software ANSYS. Both of the springback energy theory and the finite-element method are verified by a springback test of simply supported beam.
