A smart and efficient mathematic model of VAR Optimization has been built in this paper, and the author developed an electric power analysis class library that includes reactive power optimizer based on Object-Oriented technology. The advanced primal-dual interior point method is applied to solve optimal problem. It is seen that the method is of stable convergence and the times of iterations are not fluctuant with the influence of problem scale. The C++ language is used for the program, and it was debugged under windows environment. The results include generators' voltages, transformers' ratio and the volumes and location of compensating capacitor.
