This paper studies the ground motion of a triangular hill and antiplane response of a dike with flexible soil-structure interface while impacted by SH waves. The methods of complex function and moving coordinate system as well as a simple model are used here. At first the model is divided into two parts, a standing wave function which satisfies the condition of stress free at the triangular wedges is constructed in one part, a scattered wave function which satisfied the condition of stress free at the horizontal surface is constructed in another part. And then moving coordinate system is used to transform the solving problem into a "conjunction" problem. Finally, the solution of the problem can be reduced to a series of algebraic equations and solved numerically by truncating the finite terms of infinite algebraic equations. Numerical examples are provided to show the effects of SH waves on isosceles and scalene triangular hill together with the effects on isosceles and scalene triangular dike with flexible soil-structure interface.
