Up to the present, the dampers' analytical models at home and abroad are the models with constant differential coefficient parameters. Their key parameters depend on experiment testing. Therefore, they aren't becoming to forecast the absorbers' characteristic. Furthermore, there isn't good method to describe and solve distortional problem of their valves. Hence, the paper solved the large symmetric deflection of the annular plate under uniform pressure applying the approximate method. Based on that, the paper applied the theories of Fluid Mechanics and Mechanics of Elasticity to the double tube telescopic damper, developed the mathematical model with 7 parameters for the first time. By the Matlab's program and theoretic analysis, the paper computed and simulated the outer performance of the front and rear shock absorbers in the Xiali automobile and the Ford/Iveco damper, and compared the theoretical values with the test results. The outcome displayed the model is reasonable. Finally, in the programming environment of Visual C++6.0, combined with Matlab and the continuing development interface of Auto CAD 2000 called ObjectARX, developed the professional CAD program oriented to the shock absorber. For purposes of the software, the visual C++6.0 is the form of working platform, analyzing the outer performance of the damper by the way of making connection with the Matlab's program, and getting on to parametric design the damper's elements. Therefore, the software can be a convenient tool to design shock absorbers and predict their characteristics.
