| A truss-beam model of transmission tower is established, the element stiffness matrix, coordinate transformation matrix are educed in this paper, and the structure analyzing software is developed by VC++. The paper testifies the accuracy of results compared with that of SuperSAP through two simple models. Then the element force, strength or stability stress of ZM tower are calculated in the condition of typical load of 90°wind by the method put forward in this paper.
