The polymer is widely used in fields of electric and electronic insulation, but local fields (electric fields, mechanical stress) distortion induced by space charges in polymers will greatly affect properties of polarization , conductance, short-term breakdown and long-term breakdown. Space charges is often created by trapping or preventing their movement due to various traps, as a result trap properties decide the store and transport of the charge. Thermoluminescence(TL) is just a important kind of experimental tools of studying structures of trap and the store and transport of the charge controled by the trap. But the traditional TL measuring method only gives the planar curve of I(T) and doesn't the intensity-wavelength relation, which will result in some applied limitations. In this paper, a wavelength is brought in to creat a three-dimensional spectrogram about I(T, λ),which will gain more information and enlarge applied fields. In the paper, an experiment set-up was designed and manufactured for TL measurement and measured TL curves of silicone rubber aged by γ radiation and PET both by UV photon excitation, then analyzed the curves. In the paper, an auto-separated technology of TL curve is used to analyze TL radiation-aged curve of silicone rubber. Sixteen sup-processed from 110K to 300K were found. The range of trap energy is from 0.19eV to 0.34eV. The maximum of the initial density distribution of the carrier in the traps locates 0.23eV, and the curve deviated from Guass type. Frequency factor is linear to trap depth. In the paper, simulative TL three-dimensional spectrum is firstly created according to space discrete data points through Visual C++ language...
