Application Research On Remote Record System Using Power Line Carrier Communication Based On Spread Spectrum

Recently, with the improvement of technology of communication , people do many research on Power Line Carrier .Power line composed the most common net because it connects every home and family .People need not to build other communication channel and provide special radio frequency for it when using power line to transfer data and information. Compared with other communication channel , power line carrier has broader future because it cost less money and less working and can be repaired easily. A remote record system is designed based on power line carrier communication.Power line medium is not suitable for communication.Characteristics of power line medium is first analyzed in this paper.Having researched on signal transmission characteristics of low voltage power line (attenuation, disturbance, and input impedance), this paper compare the advantage and disadvantage of power line carrier communication technology using three ways: narrow band communication, Spread Spectrum and OFDM . It is found that OFDM is more better if the data transferring rate is high ,and Spread Spectrum is more suitable if the data rate is slow. A remote record system is designed using integrated circuit based on Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum Carrier Communication technology and can transfer data from the sender to the receiver via low voltage power line. The system include collecting and gathering part . Power energy is collected and stored by outer circuit , modulation and demodulation is finished by Spread Spectrum integrated circuit. The whole system is controled by the window which is designed by software Visual Basic .Restraining technology of narrow-band interface on the power line is studied in this paper .Spectrum domain adaptive filtering algorithm is researched .The simulation result proved that the algorithm is useful in the suppression of narrow-band interference .
