With the development of automobile industry, more and more manufacturers and users regard automobile air conditioning system as an important part of automobile, because automobile air conditioning system is necessary for the comfort of it. Now doing experiment is the primary way to study automobile air conditioning system, but it has some disadvantages such as long period, high cost and low efficiency, and cannot meet the need of designing. So with the aid of high technology, it is necessary to use new methods to study automobile air conditioning system. The purpose of this paper is analyzing the performance and developing software to help the study of automobile air conditioning system. This software can be used in steady-state simulation, components matching, optimization and performance analysis of automobile air conditioning system. Therefore, it can replace experiment partly and improve the efficiency of study.In this paper, after deeply studying, each basic component of automobile air conditioning system divides into some sub-class parts according to structure trait and work principium. After making distribute parameter algorithm model of sub-class components, ActiveX controls, which is applied to express the algorithm model, are created by visual C++ in Windows operation system. The main application is developed, which can manage ActiveX controls and has some useful function such as steady-state simulation calculation, components matching and optimization etc. Further more, an interface is introduced for user, through which user can add new ActiveX control into the ActiveX control library. The application has the following advantage: intelligence,opening capacity, controlling and operating easily.The error between the result of components calculation and experiment is only 5%, so the algorithm model is reasonable and correct. While the speed of compressor, environment condition, the size of condenser and evaporator change respectively, the state and performance parameter are given by the application, which tally with rule of thermodynamic process. By making use of the matching and optimization function, the application can assist the design of automobile air conditioning system, which can reduce the times of experiment, recede the costs and improve the efficiency...
