Energy saving is a hot topic in all industries' research now. This article has mainly concerned with hydraulic braking system based on energy saving. Moreover, energy saving has been applied based on test.Traditional braking system can achieve the braking aim by translating braking energy to thermal energy. This article gives ideas of storage brake and auxiliary driving. Firstly, the article has analyzed storage brake and auxiliary driving on the theory. Then, the operation was analyzed emphatically and the mechanism of energy saving can be concluded as: Because of introducing pump/motor and hydraulic accumulator, this system not only can achieve the aim of brake but also has use of auxiliary driving when braked system starts.Dynamic characteristics of A7V225 braking variable pump, accumulators storage and outlet property , braking and auxiliary driving property of hydraulic systenu load's simulation of auxiliary driving and so on have been analyzed in the article.Hydraulic storage braking and auxiliary soft starting of down belt conveyor have been simulated in laboratory, at the same time, have testified that this energy saving hydraulic system is available.
