Energy is becoming increasingly valuable now, so the task of energy conservation is also becoming more and more important. The heat transfer course of heat exchanger is extensively applied in the equipment of heat exchanger of energy, power and the other project fields, so the people is paying much attention to reducing the energy consuming in the course, but for no definite theoretical guidance, the work is mainly experimental now. Professor Guo published the paper 'A Novel Concept for Convective Heat Transfer Enhancement' in 1998. In the paper, he brings out a novel concept of heat transfer enhancement, the Field Synergy Principle. This paper applies the theory to do some work, as followed: 1. According to the Field Synergy Principle, the heat boundary layer is analyzed deeply. 2. The Field Synergy Principle is validated by using numerical simulation and experiment method. 3. Using the ways of heat transfer enhancement on the Field Synergy Principle in the practice and getting a good result. 4. Pointing to the disadvantage of the Field Synergy Principle when it is applied in the practice. The theory of Entropy Generation can make it becoming better.
