Microchannel heat sink has been widely used in the heat dissipation process of electronic equipment for its good heat transfer performance.This paper takes the heat dissipation of microelectronic components as the background,using deionized water as the cooling fluid.In laminar flow,the CFD technology is used to simulate microchannel disc heat sinks,microchannel square heat sinks,and center return tree microchannel heat sinks.The influence law of flow and heat transfer in microchannel heat sink under different conditions has been obtained.Based on the field synergy principle and entransy dissipation theory,the heat transfer and flow characteristics of microchannel heat sink are optimized.The mechanism of flow and heat transfer and its influence mechanism are discussed,which provides theoretical basis for the optimal design of microchannel heat sink.Numerical simulation results show that:(1)In laminar flow,with the increase of Re,the flow and heat transfer characteristics of each heat sink tend to be optimized,and the heat transfer efficiency gradually increases;(2)Under different return modes,the center return microchannel disc heat sink has the best heat transfer effect,the highest heat transfer efficiency,and the edge return microchannel disc heat sink has the worst flow characteristics;while the center return microchannel square heat sink has better heat transfer effect,worse flow characteristics and higher heat transfer efficiency;(3)For the center return microchannel disc heat sink,the larger number of microchannel branches n,the heat sink has better heat transfer effect,worse flow characteristics,and higher heat transfer efficiency;(4)For the center return microchannel square heat sink,with the upper levels as inscribed circle radius and the lower levels as circumscribed circle radius,the heat sink has better heat transfer effect,worse flow characteristics and higher heat transfer efficiency;(5)For the center return microchannel heat sink,under different heat sink shapes,the center return microchannel disc heat sink has betterheat transfer effect,worse flow characteristics and higher heat transfer efficiency;(6)Under different heat flux q,heat sink has worse heat transfer effect,better flow characteristics,and lower heat transfer efficiency with the increase of q.
