It is difficult, important and hot to design the pile foundation. On the design of the pile foundation, it is a key to calculate the ultimately bearing capacity of single pile. There are many methods in the world, which can calculate the ultimately bearing capacity of single pile. And the finite element method as a strongly calculating function method has been applied to the pile foundation. Some researchers have made progress in theory, but the Finite Element isn' t applied to practical pile foundation. Accordingly, this paper mainly applies the Finite Element method to practice.Firstly, this paper systematically deals with the development the pile foundation;Secondly, this paper importantly talks about the Finite Element Program of Pile Foundation' s theoretical base and calculating model;Thirdly, this paper using the SAP software to make grids, the front auxiliary program, the Finite Element Program of Pile Foundation and the behind auxiliary program, so that the pile' s ultimately bearing capacity in a practical pile foundation is gotten;Finally, this paper contrastively analyses the pile' s ultimately bearing capacity by the static load test;According to the calculated results and analysis, this paper gets some valuable conclusion, which can be used in practice.
