Settlement Analysis And Reliability Study On The Foundation Of Gantry Cranes In Three Gorges Project

In order to meet the project's demands, there need install gantry cranes in the upstream back-fill area of the flood dam of three gorge's project. His first time that installs the same kind gantry crane on the new foundation back filled and its height arriving to 38m. The settlement degree of gantry cranes is so important that decides that the gantry cranes can work normally.This article will firstly introduce the research state and calculation form of the theory of reliability degree of geotechnical engineering in brood an abroad, and then make a complete study to the basic method of reliability analysis. We designed the railway foundation of gantry crane according to the way of settlement control and assemble reinforcement according to construction demands of the railway its irregular settlement. We acquired the calculating form of the settlement degree of railway foundation backfilled and we also test and verified the calculation form through actual settlement results observed. In the later half of the article, we adopt random analysis method to make preliminary study to the backfilled foundation and then analysis random influence factors that effect the settlement degree of gantry crane foundation. We used JC method to study the reliability of the settlement and Non-Uniform settlement degree of gantry crane foundation based on factors which influence the last settlement degree of railway foundation, and the same time, we utilized backfill construction parameter and the actual statistics data of earth backfilled on site. The method adopted can meet the project's demand and has wide actual use value.
