Research Of The Behavior Of The Cast Steel Column Base

With the development of the steel structure, H profiled bar is widely used and the fabrication of the member of steel structure is increasingly standardized. However, the behavior of standardized column base was not systemically investigated domestically. Based on the data of Japanese prefabricated steel column base, acted in accordance with the present steel structure code, the paper put emphasis on HK400b's column base. Firstly, the mechanism of force-deformation was analyzed theoretically. Then the corresponding mechanical model was established, and adopted the structure nonlinear analysis part of the ANSYS finite element software to calculate. While varied anchor diameters and base-plate thicknesses, steel column base various failure patterns and M-P-0 curves were derived. According to the results, proposed the related plan of standardizational column base for the reference of design.
