According to the demands of sustainable development of construction field, the performance of recycled coarse aggregate concrete, produced with crushed waste concrete, one of the most of waste building materials, was studied in systemly in this paper.Firstly, the characteristic performance indexes of recycled coarse aggregate, made from crushed waste concrete, were test in detail. Causes and influencing factors of the characteristic performance of recycled coarse aggregate were analyzed by them.Secondly, the workability, the (cube) compressive strength, the cylinder compressive strength, the drying shrinkage and the modulus of elasticity of the recycled coarse aggregate concrete, were studied in systemly in this paper. And the influencing factors of the workability, the strength and the drying shrinkage of the recycled coarse aggregate concrete were analyzed in detail. The cold resistance and the water permeability resistance of the recycled coarse aggregate concrete were also test. The principle and the influencing factors of the drying shrinkage, the freeze thaw action and the water permeation action of the recycled coarse aggregate concrete were briefly narrated. Compressive strength and drying shrinkage of the mortar produced with recycled fine aggregate were also narrated. The compressive strength and the drying shrinkage of the mortar produced recycled fine aggregate were also narrated.Lastly, universal laws about the workability, the dynamical property, the deformation property and the durability of the recycled coarse aggregate concrete, and about the characteristic performance of recycled coarse aggregate were summarized in this essay.
