Shrapnel CAD

The shrapnel CAD software packet is used for shrapnel's assistant design. It can help users do analysis and computing on the designing scheme momentarily in the course of designing ordinary shrapnel to check up the rationality of the designing scheme and at the last to help users confirm it. The software package have some functions as follows: calculating the shrapnel's diagnostic parameters such as the mass and the pole moment of inertia, the inner and outer ballistic characteristic, the aerodynamic force and power, and so on. The software is exploited on the solidworks plane with the method of module and the object-oriented programming technique. This paper mainly discusses the software's whole scheme design and the system realizing method, and how to pick up the shrapnel model's diagnostic parameters on the solidworks plane, and how to compute aerodynamic force and ballistic characteristic etc. The software package is produced with Visual C++ 6.0 and C++ Builder 5.0.
