Electric Power Steering System(EPS) is a new type of vehicle steering system, it has the sense of speed, which any other type of steering system doesn't have. According to the speed of vehicle and torque on steering wheel, Electronic Control Unit(ECU) which is the main part of EPS can decide the amount of power to assist. During the search of EPS , it's important to set up an accurate math model. So a multi-body model is presented, then the math model is figured out by a proper numeric algorithm. This paper also adopts Fuzzy-Nerve-Net(FNN) to adjust the parameters of PID controller, by this means, the non-linear and multi-input & multi-output problems are solved. The result of simulation and test proves that the EPS with FNN & PID controller can improve the portability and sensitiveness, and keep good road-feel of driver at different speed.
