This thesis carries out studies around the parameter identification of excitation system and carries out parameter identification of liner circle and nonparametric identification of nonlinear circle. This paper verify the correction of the method by using MATLAB/SIMULINK. In sum, the main contents of the thesis include: 1, The detail discussion of the models of excitation system and analyses of them.2, Construction of one generator infinite system model by use of MATLAB/SIMULINK and get the real time data of excitation system. 3, The recursive Prediction-Error method is used to identify the liner parameters of the excitation system.4, The neural-network method id used to identify the nonlinear parameters of the excitation system.5, The nonlinear Least-Squares Method based on optimal theory is used to identify the parameters of the saturation and the rectifier.6, The excitation parameter identification background analysis software is developed combined MATLAB and LABVIEW which get fully use of power calculation ability of MATLAB and the visual function of LABVIEW.
