For complicated steam condition during startup or stop process of turbine, operators need to online monitor on the thermal status and control thermal stress of the unit sets,but at present it's generally lack of effective ways, operators always do by his experience,so it's difficult to promise safety and economic level of unit sets' operation. In this paper we establish math modal of transient temperature and stress fields of the turbine' rotor with Finite Element Method, develop Rotor's Thermal Status Online Monitor System by distribute computer and visual software, realize online show and analyst of temperature and stress fields when all kinds of transient condition, and finally provide reasonable and optimized operation suggestions, improve safety and economic level of unit sets' operation.Thermal Stress Control System actually gather the real-time data of unit sets,compute temperature fields,stress fields and maximum dangerous stress by the math modal,decide target and speedup rotation in every stage of startup process,and justify automatically to realize auto control a serial of processes of turbine,such as speedup,warm-up,connecting net ,load changing,stop and unsteady condition etc,and improve automatic level of the unit sets.Turbine Auto Startup (TAS) System can automatically evaluate steam turbine's startup and load changing process according to thermal stress ofthe rotor, for purpose of the most optimized change ration of rotation and load under the allowed maximum thermal stress. It includes two mainly functions of TAS Monitor and TAS Control.
