This subject is studied according to advisor's project "The theory of switched reluctance motor nonlinear vibration and the research of control strategy", which is supported by the National Natural Science Fund(59977005). This paper put emphasis on investigation into the influence of operating parameters on stator vibrations in SRM and design of controller for SRD. All the work aim at promoting the control technique for vibrations in SRM.Based on linear model, the optimization of turn-on and turn-off angles is studied for SRM in APC. Based on quasi-linear model, the phase current of the SRM in PWM combined with APC is computed with making programs. The radial force between the stator and rotor of the SRM in PWM combined with APC is computed based on linear model. At last, frequency domain analysis was used to show the influence on the phase current and the radial force between the stator and rotor made by turn-on and turn-off angles and chopping frequency and duty ratio.A direct digital control system of SRD was designed using 80C196KB single chip as micro controller, and hardware and software debugging was made in this process.
