Using as the supporting part, Bearing is very important and widely used in modern machines. Although the traditional bearings have their strongpoint, they have some unavoidable defects which limit their using fields. Active magnetic bearings (AMB) have such a lot of advantages that it is called a technology revolution in the bearings. With the development of mechanics, computer, automation control and microelectronics, AMB are widely applied in industries. However there is an obstacle to the development of AMB now. The rotor rises temperature rapidly and severity during high speed revolving which has great influence on rotor's precision and duration. The research of this thesis is based on solving rotor's temperature problem.This thesis introduces magnetic suspension rotor parts' characteristics, working principle, application and development status, also expounds the reasons and importance of analysis and calculation of temperature fields. By theoretic and experimental calculating method, the rotor parts' thermal boundary condition can be educed. Input this thermal boundary condition to ANSYS software, temperature fields of magnetic suspension rotor parts can be analyzed and calculated.For a long time, analysis and calculation temperature fields by using numerical calculation method is very difficult and complexity. This thesis brings forward a new method for analysis and calculation of temperature fields which is more efficiency and expedite, it also analyses the temperature fields of AMB grind spindle rotor and one-degree-of freedom AMB hard disk test-bed.
