Research On The Planning Of Folk Custom Ecotourism Of Dai Race In Xishuangbanna

A planned objective tourism has been part of life-patterns pursued to a unprecedented degree by many people who raised even higher demands for their cultural lives, with the rapid development of technologies and gradual upturn of living standards.In recent years, what is called ecotourism, especially the one that is aiming at protecting the ecotope and enjoying the folk-custom culture based on villages, is popular with tour lovers.The research provides planning of three Dai-Race villages in the area of Mengla in Xishuangbanna-Manlongdai, Mof en and Manban in detail by an on-the-spot investigation, taking photographs, collecting information on geographical features and folk-custom culture. In the progress of planning, the writer combines theories with practice, analyses the differences between the development of tourism in villages and the traditional tourism and further discusses about establishing a system of sustainable development of "folk custom ecotourism villages" and it' s possibility of bring into practice. Base on these researches, this thesis demonstrates a new pattern of tourism, which not only focuses on development but also cares about being in harmony with and protecting nature.
