With the advancement of electric power tech and the increase of energy sources requirement,electric power system plays an important role in modern industrial and agricultural production and national economy. It requires the operating workers of power system to have higher skill and quick response ability. As rapid development of computer technology and mathematical model,simulation technologies have more and more application in power system. Simulation system has become developed equipment of training workers.My research paper can be divided into five parts:I .Practical mathematical models have been derived and equations are also derived (includes field excitation system,governing system),which are used in generator three phases short circuit and by adding large loading. II .Simulation of the generator's shunt-wound run. ffi.The adjustment of frequency and active power and the adjustment of voltage and reactive power. IV.Design of hardware and software of MCU system and interface. V .some key technologies of data transition,especially receiving and sending technology of computer.The simulation system has simulation calculating under cubic mathematical model of generator,simplifying process of calculation and satisfaction results are derived. Selecting Delphi 5.0 as programming simulation software,the software is easily added and modified.Application of ActiveX technology,read from and write to series port of computers using mscomm.ocx of Microsoft Co..Selecting 89C51 MCU as system driver,not only because its high drive power,but its simple and convenient performance,and the design of hardware and software of its Input and Analogue Output have common peculiarities.Serial communication adopts RS-232 bus and MAX232 transform circuit. The circuit is very simple and only need +5v voltage drive.In addition,this paper also introduces a simulation method with simulink toolbox of Matlab in simulating the dynamic process of timing system. The method is more intuitionistic and simple than differential equation for simulating.Though the project is studied around small power simulation system ,some key technology about data communication,design of hardware and software is helpful to professionals of industrious controlling. Contents about components technology are helpful to Delphi programmers.Because of the short-time and the enormous paper content,I just have completed the above-mentioned work.
