This paper gives a brief introduction of the formation mechanism of SMA and the handing property of pavement from the aspects of theory and research. At the same time, this paper also studies the effect of aggregate size on road-related performance in some different grads. Except, it also having inspected to use the SBS, the PE and the combination material of SBS and PE to analyze the influence to the function of material road. Finally the test road is built on the basis of theory studied.The result in lab is examined. And the construction technology is explored.
