| With the rapid of development of the global container liner transportation, the demand for container and the amounts of self-owned container of each liner company have been increasing accordingly. Management of container has become the vital part of a company's internal management, and the amounts of allocated containers in each route is the key factors in a company's successful investment as well as the economic benefits. This paper is intended to provide a feasible solution to this issue.On the basis of investigation and study, the author synthesizes the achievements of previous studies and analysis. Based on the determination of the distribution of daily amount of containers used in the terminal, the author proposes the method of how to determine the amounts of allocated containers from the angels of social benefit and economic benefit. And by adapting the principle of Storing theory, the author puts forward the proportion between the amounts of a company's self-owned container and leased container that can solve the problem of the amounts of allocated container in Liner Company. |
