Featured by complete functions, non-invasion, wide application and low price, defibrillating monitors have been widely applied in clinical monitoring as the basis for analysis and treatment. Currently, defibrillating monitors used in hospitals of China are nearly all manufactured by foreign countries. The defibrillating monitor independently developed in China is still in its initial stage. To make up for this deficiency, we have independently developed 120B defibrillating monitor based on the studies on top grade monitors, defibrillators and pacemakers manufactured by foreign countries. We have designed the dominant parts of 120B monitor including ECG collecting module, defibrillator and pacemaker. Up to now. iis prototype has been developed. This development helps narrow the gap between China and other countries in the aspect of the technology concerning this product. Additionally, it has far-reaching significance for future R & D of internal pacemaker in China.This paper is mainly divided into two parts.' The first part gives a general introduction to the defibrillating monitor and the collection of ECG signals. The second -part is about firing of pacing pulses. The part about the collection of ECG signals talks mainly about the generation and hardware collection of ECG signals, filtering of hardware and software, suppressing of pacing pulses, performance of EMC module, and the enhancement of system reliability. The part about firing pacing pulses introduces the brief development history of pacemaker, the circuit principle of pacing hardware, the implementation of pacing arithmetic and test verification of pacemaker. This part also states that the EMC of the module has been improved.120B defibrillating monitor is advantageous for possessing wide energy range and consummated data storage function. Being applicable to both adult and pediatric. it has complete types of electrode boards for defibrillation and various expandable monitoring parameters such as ECG, SPO2. NIBP, CO/IBP, CO2, etc.
