According to the present Var distribution, compensation and netWorkstrUcture of Baotou power network, a method of Var flow adjustmentand Var compensation is presented in this paPer, which includeautomatically drawing of electrical connexion diagrams of plants andstations of Baotou netWork.. Through analysis and establishment of thenetWork parameter database, a algorithm of power flow and Var mostoptimiZaion is presented. The main works are as follows f(l) Theoretically analysis of Var flow distribution and it's influenceto netWork voltage, real power losses.(2) The method of Var adjustment and compensation is studied.(3) The method of automatically drawing of netWork map andelectrical connection lnap of plants and stations is presented.(4) To avoid manually numbering of node and manually analysis ofelectrical connection, a method of automatically analysis of electricalconnection is presented.(5) Analysis and establishment of the structure of netWork topologydatabase and stams database.(6) Study of the algorithm of power flow and Var most optimiZaion.
