| Water pump, as one of the main annexes to important equipment in power plants, has different types and costs much amount of electric power energy. Research on operating codes and economic characterizations in different running conditions will be quite significant. This paper describes all energy-saving possibilities for different adjustment modes and analyses their economy. Finally, some examples are used to verify the theoretical analysis presented in this paper. By means of aforementioned analyses on the running conditions of the coagulation pumps for N125 steam turbines, the energy- saving potential and the feasibility of the frequency controlling technique applied to coagulation pumps are discussed and analyzed. According to the system characterization, the executing proposal of the frequency controlling technique applied to coagulation pumps is presented. Through modifying the system and cost-estimation- analysis it is demonstrated that the using frequency controlling technique will be able to decrease energy consumption and improve economic behavior. It is suggested to apply this technique to all N125 steam turbine units. |
