Water pump is the main power equipment in water supply system.In the water supply system,the general water pump station above the total power consumption of the water supply system of power consumption accounted for 70%.For the domestic use of water supply system,the actual use of most of the efficiency of the developed countries,the product is less than 10% ~ 30%,pump operating efficiency is low,serious waste of energy consumption.Therefore,to reduce the pump power consumption loss,improve the efficiency of the pump is the key energy saving water supply station.There are many ways for water pump,variable frequency speed control is the most up-to-date technology,has the advantages of high efficiency,strong mechanical properties,wide speed range,is the ideal way to speed the pump operation conditions change.The principle of characteristic curve of water pump,pipeline pump characteristic curve and frequency analysis,introduces the main way of pump energy,discusses the principle of frequency conversion water pump energy saving,pointed out that the variable frequency pump group could reach the best energy-saving effect through reasonable control way in certain conditions.In this paper,the research on the energy saving control mode of the pumping unit in the Guangzhou water supply pumping station of Guangdong province is carried out with the water supply capacity of 3 million 500 thousand tons per day.Through a series of performance tests of single variable frequency pump,multiple frequency pump,through the water pump control group research model,research and application of energy control of variable frequency pump group,exploration of large scale pumping station pump safety control operation mode and operation optimization of energy saving method and means.The main research contents are as follows:(1)According to the performance curve of the pump,the performance of the variable frequency pump is tested.The results show that the pump set is in good running condition,and the deviation of the theoretical value is in accordance with the expectation.(2)According to carry out the pump group control study,to explore the results of the model show that the pump group is not conducive to the safe and stable operation of the pump at different frequency of operation,production should be used in the same frequency operation,according to the production requirement and operation frequency adjustment inventory.(3)According to carry out the application research of pump energy saving control results show that under certain conditions of water level,there is a close relationship between the number and frequency of pump power consumption with the pump,but a nonlinear non absolute Association state.The use of measured data and curves as a guide,can effectively achieve the purpose of energy saving control.Experimental results show that the content of the water supply system in different seasons and different periods of the water supply pump how to optimize the existing collocation configuration,in order to meet the demand of the production under the premise,also can produce the operability and feasibility,and achieve maximum energy-saving effect,to provide experience for large pump operation of water supply system.
