Study On Urban Open Space System For Sustainable Development Of Small-medium Cities In Jiangsu Province

慬he small-medium cities, which are the major part of the cities in Jiangsu province, are the studied object in this thesis. The theory of Landscape Ecology, Sustainable Development and Ecology Ethics are specifically used to study Open Space System of small-medium cities in Jiangsu province at the viewpoint of the Systems theory. Based on the comprehensive investigations and analyses of the current conditions of Open Space System of small-medium cities in Jiangsu province, relative principles is put forward to make sure Sustainable Development of Open Space System of small-medium cities in Jiangsu province. According to the physiographic characters and the layout of small-medium cities in Jiangsu province, twelve typical representative cities are selected, and questiommaires are used to test the people抯 assessment of?Open Space System of 8 of the twelve selected cities. The quantity and quality of selected cities?Open Space System are comprehensively analyzed and appraised. The layout of Open Space System of the selected cities as well as the construction, the composition, and the utilization ratio of grove vegetable is especially discussed. In accordance with the above analyses and the assessment, tive principles are brought up to make sure the sustainable development of Open Space System of small-medium cities in Jiangsu province, as follows: create the radiating poly-green-core Urban Open Space System in which the center park is the its core, the radical green grove belts is its sketch, and the round-the-cities green belt is the buffer region between Urban Open Space System and suburban greenland; design with culture and build the cities?cultural pulse; preserve Biodiversity by increasing the kinds of public parks, complicating the composition of the grove flora, using flowering plants widely, and exploit the natural special resource; do the city-surroundings plan with the regional plan; build the database of the city抯 grove vegetable specials and Special Management System. The writer hopes that this thesis can promote reference for Sustainable Development of Open Space System of small-medium cities in Jiangsu province during the urbanization of Jiangsu province.
