The seismic response of lattice shells is complex subjected to earthquake. Because of large of work during controlling process, the computation for the response is difficult. The double-layer cylindrical lattice shell is researched with controlling theory in this paper. One end of the model of the double-layer cylindrical lattice shell in the paper is underpinned by rim, the other end is underpinned by rubber spring. We adopt half-active control at the model. We actualize real-time control with symbol control theory and optimization control theory, to reduce the seismic response of each nodal of the double-layer cylindrical lattice shells under earthquake. We also study the position of stiffness and damping implements.
