The present thesis studies frame topology optimization and centralizer span optimization in inclined shaft:Based on the concept of independent continuous topological design variables, filter function and mapping transformations, using a new topological optimization model--ICM (Independent Continuous Mapping)model, some frame topology optimization problems with stress and displacement constraints under multi-loading cases are solved successfully.2.A engineering example of nodal positions optimization ptimal design of staff and centralizer span for single screw pump in inclined shaft. A common model has been established to optimize staff and centralizer span with the objective functions of least centralizers. The model has four constraints.Using this model, the radius of the pump bar and the centralizer span are optimized.
