| As a new kind of proportional element, Stepping Proportional Electromagnet (SPE) can change electrical energy into mechanical energy, and the output is force which varies proportionally only with the input signal. It has some advantages such as small volume, low price, quick reaction, no pollution and easy control. It is being more and more widely used in many fields such as hydraulic transmission, pneumatic transmission, automatic control and so on.On the basis of analysis on dynamic, statistic and frequency characteristic of SPE, the control theory of stepping motor has been introduced into the controlling of SPE. Through the analysis and study on the characteristic of the electromagnetic work situation, the principle and reason causing oscillation and losing control of stepping is illustrated and the solution which use electronic method to generate damping. It revises and improves the original controlling way of SPE, enhances its power and frequency characteristic and develops the applied field. In addition, the paper elaborates the principle and characteristic of the control system of SPE and the design method of the controlling program. |
