As a tool of descripting residents’travel demand within a certain time frame, OD matrix is the most basic data in the progress of traffic planning and developing transportation management policies. With the increase of mobile phone users and mobile location technology continues to mature, it becomes more and more possibly for us to use mobile data to get the information of residents’travel demand. However, since the privacy-related laws and regulations are not perfect, it is really difficult for us to get real mobile data. So, the research on the method, especially the research, most remain in the simulation phase. Based on this, in order to obtain real data and condition of resident trip investigation information, based on the gravity model of inhabitant trip distribution and data were compared.First, sort out the domestic and foreign research status of residents’ travel demand distribution, and several common models were compared and analyzed, clear the advantages and disadvantages of the principle and application of the models.Then, use the Mobile Signaling Data and Qujing City’s Trip Investigation Data as basic data, using the gravity model and Mobile Data analyzed the characteristics of Spatial and temporal distribution.At last, proposed the correction method of mobile OD data. On this basis, exploring the new methods of trip distribution by using the mobile data.
