However, under this wave of post-modern design, there are still a number of designers who has been grown under the influence of Modernist design. They were continuing conducted designs with Modernist design concepts and its styling elements. They also added new concepts in this style that called "Neo-modernism".Neo-modernism design initially appeared in architectural design, later spread to the field of products design. But in the time that design was dominant by Post-modernism design, Neo-modernism did not cause much attention. When it comes to the late 20 s, Neo-modernism product design gradually got their space in market. And these designs were no longer just having backtracked the idea and styling of modernist design, they stride with new concept as well.
