With the development of China’s economy, the problem of traffic management and safety is becoming more and more serious. And how to ensure the safety of vehicle running is becoming especially important. Obtaining real-time traffic information and relevant parameters prediction information has great practical significance for the prevention of traffic accidents. In response to this phenomenon, this article, based on embedded technology, wireless communication technology, real-time positioning technology and vehicle rollover warning algorithm, has designed an integrated system including data center control platform, wireless communication module, vehicular networking terminal module and vehicle rollover warning module. In this article, the following work has been done:(1) To design a vehicle integrated information management system. This system mainly includes the management of the information about the vehicle and its owner, the vehicle location information, the vehicle state information and so on. This article focuses on the data center control platform and vehicle rollover warning in design. In the control platform of data center, this system has many functions. For example, it can realize the inquiry and modification of the basic information about the vehicle and its owner, display and store real-time location information of the vehicle, exchange information with the vehicle platform, and so on. In addition to the function of data center, vehicular networking terminal also can save and display vehicle status data.(2) A vehicle rollover warning system has been designed. It embedded S3C6410 ARM11 processor as the main controller of the rollover warning system, using MPU6050 six degrees freedom sensor to acquire vehicle Real-Time operational parameters and transfer the data onto the main controller. It also uses positioning communication integrated module SIM908 to achieve Real-Time Positioning, as well as the wireless communication between the car-mounted terminal of the car networking and the control platform of the data center.(3)In order to achieve the purpose of vehicle rollover warning, this article selects the vehicle lateral load transfer rate(LTR, Lateral-Load Transfer Ratio) as the vehicle rollover warning algorithm to discriminate a rollover instructions. To select MLR (Multi-level Recursive) modeling prediction method as an early warning algorithm can predict rollover value of criteria. According to the predicted value, vehicle-mounted system determine the vehicle rollover danger degree. If forecast LTR value exceeds the setting threshold, it will send out an alarm signal.It based on hardware & software platform and real vehicle simulation experiment, completed the comprehensive test of the system, achieved the function of query, storage, change, interaction the information between the data center and the car-mounted terminal, etc. In comparison to the actual vehicle LTR value, the LTR predicted value in the next one to two seconds from, what were mentioned in this article, the MLR modeling forecasting method, and AR (Autoregressive Model) has a better result. The experiment result turns out that the vehicle rollover warning system which mentioned in this article has higher applicability and prediction precision.
