In order to assess the damage of fragmentation warhead against typical phased array radar, a damage assessment model of fragmentation warhead against the phased array radar is established. This model is constituted by a phased array radar target vulnerability model, a calculating model of fragments field parameters of fragmentation warhead, an intersection model of fragments field and the radar, a calculating model of damage probability of fragments against a radar assembly and a calculating model of the radar damage probability caused by damages of key assemblies.Radar vulnerability of different locations is calculated. The result shows that the location of the array the location of phased array antenna was the most vulnerable. The effective distance, in which distance the damage probability is above 0.5. of the antenna location is about 39m.the effective distance of the opposite location to the phased array antenna is only 13m. and the left and right effective distance is about 18m.Damage probabilities distribution of the typical fragmentation warhead against the radar is calculated. The result shows that it is easiest for the warhead to cause the radar M level damage at the miss azimuth of 105°,185° and 355°, cause the F level damage at the miss azimuth of 30° and 150°, cause the K level damage at the miss azimuth of 105°,180° and 355°. When vertical down thrust the location of the antenna, AS-17 warhead can cause the radar K level damage more easily than HARM, ALARM and ARMAT.The influence of terminal conditions on damage probability is calculated. The result shows that when vertical down thrust the location of the antenna, the result of the Equation related to burst distance and terminal velocity is calculated. When the warhead hits the radar from the opposite directions of antenna, it can cause the radar K level damage most easily and the effective distance is about 22m.The influence of fragments field parameters on damage probability is calculated. The more closed the middle angle of static fragments area to 90°, the more effective radar damage is. Increasing fragment mass help radar damage, but when the fragment mass increases, the number of fragments decreases. So as the fragments density decreases at a distance, a fragment mass increase every 2g, the increase speed of damage Area decreases averagely 18.29%. Increasing static fragment origin velocity helps radar damage. As the origin velocity increase 100m/s, the K level damage area increases averagely 19.37%.
