With the development of China’s economy and continuous increase of high-rise buildings, the elevator has become an important project in the construction industry electrical installation project, the elevator safety testing has become increasingly important. However, if the electrical part of the elevator has been broken down, it will be difficult for the elevator maintenance personnel to conduct maintenance work because the control signal of electric control part is a kind of electrical signal, which can’t be seen and touched. So we can use the elevator running curve to determine the elevator fault.The traditional data acquisition system has poor processing performance and low accuracy of data, power consumption is significantly, and it is difficult to extend, so the system uses STM32 as the main controller, MPU6000 as the inertial sensors, SD card as data storage unit, and combined with infrared remote control, LCD to design a kind of MEMS inertial data acquisition system, which has low price, high precision and is easy to expand. It is used to collect the elevator acceleration for elevator motion detection and analysis. The main work includes:First, the inertial data acquisition system is based on the main controller STM32 and MEMS accelerometer mpu6000 to design the hardware and software, it takes MEMS accelerometer MPU6000 as the core module of data acquisition, which has high integration, small size, higher precision.Second, this thesis makes a research on the operating principle, merit and demerit about Moving Average filter, Median filter and Kalman filter, combined with the elevator acceleration data to analysis and compare, finally using kalman filter in the system. The parameter for Kalman filter is analyzed and selected according to the actual measurement of acceleration data.Third, the inertial data acquisition system is applied to the elevator movement detection, elevator acceleration data are integral and filter in the PC software, through the curves obtained for data analysis to conduct simple fault diagnosis.In actual tests, the processing speed of inertial data acquisition system is fast, the precision of measurement data is high, the measuring curve starts from zero, and finally returns to zero, the curve is smooth and complete. All the collected data are stored in SD card, which provides an important data source for subsequent safety analysis. In the analysis of the PC, when adding external vibration, the Kalman filter can obviously capture and reflect the speed curve, and the dynamic characteristic is good.
