Study On Construction Quality Control Of A - Protected Housing Project In Kunming City

Intensifying efforts to build more indemnificatory apartments, improving people’s living conditions and developing property market in a healthy way are those steps taken by the central government to improve people’s livelihood. For the sake of addressing the housing problems of the low-income community, the Government of Yunnan Province has planned to build 2.5 million indemnificatory apartments during the national 12th five-year plan. while the Government of Kunming City had defined a goal to build 0.16 million indemnificatory apartments from 2010 to 2012. Therefore, the project A was promoted in compliance with the policy framework, which was treated as a solution to solve the housing problems of low-income residents.It is vital to have a clear understanding of the importance of indemnificatory apartments’ construction quality control. Owing to the large construction scale, relatively shorter construction period, inadequacy of preparation and tight deadline, some problems occur on project A’s project quality control. However, building indemnificatory apartments require well-found facilities, medium housing size and most importantly, good quality, which pose great challenge to the project quality control of project A.In order to better control project A’s construction quality, by analyzing from the perspective of building product characteristics, content of quality control and influential factors; through in-depth research-identifying problems-research problems-promoting solutions;applying literature survey and empirical method, this paper finds the keys of project quality control. Further, this paper systematically research the influential factors on project A’s quality control, explaining the relation between independent variables and dependent variables(project quality). In the end, this essay gives suggestions to promote construction quality and improve management.
